Find a presentation online, e.g. one of TED talks, and, after listening to it and watching with fellow students, discuss the visual aids used. Did they enhance the presentation? Did they explain the point made? How many were used (in proportion to the rest of the speech)? Would you have changed them? Why? Why not?
