Choose one of the methods of speaking for each of the six situations listed below:

1. You are unexpectedly called to your boss’s office to report on the progress of a special report you have been working on.
2. You are asked to give a 10-minute speech on the local radio early tomorrow morning.
3. You are leaving a restaurant when a reporter for a local TV station asks you to give your opinion on student life in Poznan.
4. You have two weeks to prepare a speech on the Polish education system which is to be presented to a group of international students.
5. You have been asked to prepare a 15-minute speech on the disaster preparedness of the Polish territorial defense forces. It will be given several times over the next few months to visiting dignitaries from various countries.
6. You will be attending your friend’s wedding in a week’s time and you have been asked to prepare a short speech to be delivered during the reception.
