Completion requirements
When describing your work experience or training, you should focus on your achievements and what you gained from the experience. The following description of a job applicant’s work experience does not do this. It is simply a list of duties. Re-write the information below in a more formal way, adding your own ideas and focusing on the positive outcomes.


1) March 2020 - present

MechCo Ltd, UK - Junior Mechanical Engineer

    • doing some mechanical construction drawings for people in the electrical design team
    • helping my boss
    • helping some important people with designing and developing power equipment and systems
    • writing some technical rules for using systems and technical reports
    • putting together some manuals and writing some instructions on how to operate stuff.


2) Sept 2019 – Feb 2020

Ruddlings Ltd, UK – Graduate Trainee

    • helped with paperwork
    • followed project managers and designers around to see what they were doing
    • learned about how buildings are heated and ventilated
    • went to lots of meetings with different teams like architects, contractors, and fire consultants
    • saw how construction projects start and finish.
